The end of one year, the start of another, a time to reflect on the best wedding photos of 2019.

What a year 2019 has been

Weddings in Birmingham, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, Monmouthshire, Berkshire, Leicestershire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Derbyshire and Devon.

Weddings at Mill Barns, Pendrell Hall, Curradine Barns, High Grosvenor, Avoncroft Museum, Davenport House and many more.

Phew, just writing that list has reminded me of what a busy year I’ve had and what amazing weddings I’ve been privileged to document

As well as looking forward to the awesome weddings to come in 2020 it’s also great to look back at the year just finished

Probably somewhere between 25000–30000 images to choose one

40 weddings

Countryside, city, beach and barn

Indoors and outdoors, intimate affairs and giant parties

Marquees in fields, tipis on the lawn, a geo-dome in school grounds, a museum, country houses, pubs, hotels, barns and an RAF base

So diverse but all joined by the same bond — love

How to choose a selection of images to reflect all of this?

Simple, these are all images that I love, that make me smile, that take me back to a time and a place

Ones that remind me of emotion, of pride and joy, of anticipation and relief

Moments of togetherness, of family and friends, of rain and shine and of each of the seasons

But most of all, of love

So turn up the volume, sit back and click play for 3 minutes and 18 seconds

Or, if you’d prefer then you can browse a selection of the images below

So there you go, my best wedding photos of 2019, hope you liked them! A year of great weddings, lovely people, wonderful days.
