Vintage cars, mega number of groomsmen, garden games….and extrajoss!!!

Lich­field Wed­ding pho­tog­ra­phy that could be in the Guin­ness Book of Records maybe?! 

I’m not sure if they have an entry for most num­ber of Grooms­men at a wed­ding but this one just has to be in con­tention with 15 of them — I think suit sales in Stafford­shire have gone through the roof!!

Under­stand­ably, giv­en that there were enough ush­ers for their own rug­by team, Shel­ley & Nathan had asked me to arrange an addi­tion­al pho­tog­ra­ph­er for their Stafford­shire church wed­ding. So thank you to Claire from Pop­py K Pho­tog­ra­phy who fol­lowed the boys from prep, to pub to church before we all head­ed off the Old School­house near Lich­field for food, drink and music

With Claire pho­tograph­ing the boys I was with Shel­ley at her par­ents house, a rel­a­tive­ly calm enclave as the hair and make­up artists did their thing.

If the cou­ple exchange gifts on the morn­ing of their wed­ding (via inter­me­di­aries of course) then it’s like­ly that it might get a bit emo­tion­al, thank good­ness for water­proof mas­cara. I’m not sure if the two of them were open­ing their gifts at the exact same time but there were sim­i­lar reac­tions — emotional

The eagle-eyed amongst you might spot that the boys were look­ing at YouTube videos about how to tie a dou­ble wind­sor knot — they might have had a bit of online assis­tance but they all looked sharp!

Shel­ley’s trans­port to the church was an amaz­ing vin­tage Ford, lov­ing­ly restored by her Dad over many many years. A vin­tage car tends to have a vin­tage engine so no motor­way for them, far more wise to stick to the A roads.

Even with a stop at the pub for the boys, every­one made it to the church on time and after the cer­e­mo­ny time to head off to the reception

What are Extra­joss I hear you ask?! Pow­dered Red Bull is the eas­i­est way to describe them, appar­ent­ly downed with a shot is the way to have them!!
