If you want to cut straight to the chase, then here’s a video slideshow, turn up the volume, sit back and enjoy

Or if you prefer to pour over the individual images then here you go!

So, Angharad had to find not one, not two but three different places to get ready for of her wedding at Cripps Barn. With others being taken off the rental market or refurbished it proved trickier thank you might have thought! But all was well in the end with MANY bridesmaids, parents, brother, a Bride (of course!), hairdresser, makeup artist and a few other people all packed in to the cottage

Having different members of the wedding party get involved is fab and this was a particularly musical bunch.

The partner of one of the bridesmaids was playing keyboards for the ceremony and arrival but OH NO, calamity, he got to the venue and realised that a vital power cable had been left behind in Worcester, a two hour round trip

ARGHHH

I found out about this when his partner was tracking his progress on her iPhone, nervously confident that he’s make it it time but reluctant to tell the bride until he was on the return leg, cable safely retrieved.

(For the record, it was all fine, phew!!)

I mentioned there were showers in the morning, not ideal for a winter wedding where daylight is limited. But, the rain stopped and the sun came out, and whilst I made the short drive to the venue, we had a rainbow!!!

I can’t say I remember a wedding where the Groom was walked down the aisle, by his Mum, but I think it’s a lovely addition to the day.

More please!!

Side trip to Bibury

After the ceremony, Angharad & Dan wanted to make the short drive to Bibury. Even if you’ve never heard the name you’ll probably recognise it, in particular Arlington Row. Bibury has been used in movies and TV including Bridget Jones’s Diary. It is the quintessential English picture postcard scene, so perhaps not surprising that it’s popular with tourists!!

They’d been warned by the venue that it can be overrun with tourists, lots of coach parties all keen to see this little corner of the Cotswolds

Maybe because it was December, perhaps because it was a weekday or it could have been because of the weather in the morning, but when we got there it was remarkably quiet. Perfect for the newlyweds to have a wander around this idyllic hamlet

Then…as we were heading back to the car…what should arrive in the car park……but two coach loads of Japanese tourists!!

I think it made their day, getting to see a bona fide British couple in such a pretty place!!

And Christmas-tree-gate?!

Well, it was a December wedding…and no Christmas tree 🙁

But fortunately Cripps Barn called in a favour and made sure there was a perfectly decorated tree there for the day!!

Here are some of the fab suppliers and vendors that Angharad & Dan used for their wedding
